About Me...
For 10 years, I worked as a Registration Officer in local government, marrying hundreds of couples across Surrey and Norfolk, and dealing with records dating back nearly 200 years.
Looking for something different to do from home, I began the excellent Society of Indexers Training in Indexing course in 2011. After eighteen months, I had qualified and gained my first commission, a children's encyclopedia about animals.
I completed two further published indexes before I took maternity leave. Two children later, I am now expanding the business into other services.
I am proud to announce that in April 2019 I was awarded advanced professional membership in recognition of my experience since initial qualification.
Alongside indexing, I am currently studying for a Diploma in Genealogy from the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies (IHGS) with a view to expanding into professional family history research.
